Where it all began:
It’s the story of two passionate people: first by architecture, then by lighting.
Arnaud joined Damien's team at a pivotal moment when he decided to leave interior design to devote himself fully to lighting. Damien, who had been working in an independent design office for several years , would then pass on all his knowledge of this fascinating profession to him. Very quickly, a real professional bond was established , and they would never leave each other again.
Accustomed to working closely together , they worked together on numerous projects around the world for several years. However, each retains their own vision and areas of expertise , which enrich their collaborations. Their ability to communicate and understand each other instinctively gives rise to a dynamic collaboration, both a force for proposals and ready to take on all challenges .
The Helios project was born on the corner of a table in Italy , during a break during the final adjustments of a luxury ready-to-wear boutique in Milan. After 20 years for Damien and 16 years for Arnaud in the world of lighting, they finally felt ready to launch into entrepreneurship , with the ambition of offering their expertise to an international clientele. Their association then seemed obvious .
Today, they are proud to share with you, through this section, their unique know-how in lighting design .

When Damien reveals himself!

My career began in interior design , with a degree from the CREAD school in Lyon. Quickly, one thing became clear: my passion for lighting. Since then, I have made lighting my professional playground.
Organized, meticulous, always listening, I approach each project with a touch of mischief and a good dose of humor. My goal? To create lighting atmospheres that don't just illuminate, but that enchant.
And because a beautiful project is also a responsible project , I am always looking for innovative and environmentally friendly solutions. Finding the perfect light fixture or the manufacturer capable of pushing the limits is a challenge that I love to take on. And if the existing solutions are not enough, I do not hesitate to challenge them to imagine tailor-made alternatives.
After 20 years of playing with light, I prefer to stay in the shadows. Especially during focusing sessions, where I work to adjust, refine and enhance your spaces so that the magic happens. My role is to highlight your project, without ever stealing the show.

Passionate about science and particularly architecture , I obtained my interior design diploma in 2006. After having designed and built several villas, I chose to specialize in the field of lighting. This orientation led me to join an independent design office, where I learned my trade, then to obtain my AFE diploma in 2008.
A true "geek" at heart, I have always been fascinated by new technologies and computing, which occupy an important place in my professional and personal life.
A perfectionist, sometimes to the point of obsession, I fully commit myself to everything I undertake: what is started must be completed, every problem finds its solution, and quality remains for me an absolute priority over quantity.
After 16 years of perfecting my knowledge and the multiple facets of the lighting profession, I now put my expertise at your service. I bring to each of your projects a particular attention and the creative touch that reflect my signature.
